Zanjeer is the remake of 1973 hit movie Zanjeer played by “angry young man” of Bollywood movies, Amithabh Bachchan. The movie has casts Ram Charan Teja , Mahie Gill, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Atul Kulkarni, Prakash Raj and others. The story revolves about A.C.P Vijay, played by Ram Charan Teja, who is an honest police officer and fights against corruption. He gets transferred from his post as he is chasing the underworld don.
His main fight is against Teja and he is now in charge of a case where he has got an eyewitness, Ria (played by Priyanka Chopra) who has seen a murder done by Teja’s gang but does not want to co-operate A.C.P as Teja is an oil mafia and could do anything to save his gang. Vihay however is able to convince Ria and she become ready to give her statement in court. While she agrees to help Vijay, she has threat for her life. Vijay agrees to give her shelter and while he does so, Ria becomes an important part of her life. Sher Khan, played by Sanjay Dutt, sells and buys illegal cars and encounters with Vijay but later on they become friends for life as Sher Khan is highly impressed by Vijay’s determination and honesty.
Vijay is also fighting another war where he is searching for his parents’ killers. He was a child when he witnessed the cold-blooded murder of his parents and always gets nightmares about the same. The entire story of Zanjeer revolves around Vijay’s struggle though there is a bit of romance. The remake of Zanjeer by director Apoorva Lakia is going to be heart touching as well as a hit movie. The songs are sung by Shreya Ghosal and Mika Singh. The music is good to hear and the movie is sure to make high rank in the box office.
